Sue Ryder Charity Ride, Sunday 6th April 2014
On Sunday 6th of April, Thetford and District Motorcycle Club are organising a charity ride to Thorpe Hall, Peterborough to support and raise funds for the new Sue Ryder Hospice that is being built to extend the amazing services currently offered by the existing building.
The ride will call at a number of Sue Ryder shops along the way for coffee breaks and to allow riders to join in en-route if they do not want to complete the whole ride. Route maps will be provided for those taking part or just wishing to show support.
Joining the ride is free however we would encourage participants to make a minimum donation of £5.00 per bike. Hopefully those taking part will help to raise vital funds as well as awareness of Sue Ryder’s work both in their shops and the wider community.
TDMCC cannot accept any liability for damages or losses and all participants ride at their own risk. All bikes must be fully road legal and all road laws observed.
The ride will be visiting the Sue Ryder shops in Thetford, Fakenham, Kings Lynn and Downham Market before proceeding to Thorpe Hall. The last stop of the day will be the nearby “Boat” public house for farewells & thank yous before heading home.
